The ETEC Glide range offers quiet, practical and cost-effective electric transport for farms, estates, lodges, golf courses, warehouses and other private properties.

Although the Glide 2, Glide 4 and Glide Utility share similar performance figures, each model has been designed for a different purpose. The best choice depends on whether you need compact transport, additional passenger space or a practical load bin.

Glide 2: Two seater golf kart

The Glide 2 is the most compact model in the range. It is ideal when one or two people need a convenient way to travel around a property.

Its smaller size makes it easy to manoeuvre through narrow pathways, between buildings and around busy working areas.

Ideal applications

  • Golf courses
  • Security patrols
  • Retirement villages
  • Estates and residential complexes
  • Resorts and hospitality properties

Suitable terrain

The Glide 2 performs best on level or gently sloping terrain, including:

  • Paved roads
  • Concrete surfaces
  • Brick pathways
  • Maintained gravel roads
  • Firm grass and golf-course paths

It is the ideal choice when manoeuvrability and comfortable everyday transport are more important than passenger or cargo capacity.

Glide 4: Four seater golf kart

The Glide 4 offers additional seating, making it a practical choice for transporting staff, guests, clients or family members around larger properties.

Its 400 kg maximum load capacity, high- and low-range lever and increased passenger space give it greater versatility than the smaller Glide 2.

Ideal applications

  • Lodges and resorts
  • Golf courses
  • Game farms
  • Estates
  • Security operations
  • Guest and client transport
  • Staff transport around private properties

Suitable terrain

The Glide 4 is well suited to:

  • Paved and concrete roads
  • Maintained gravel roads
  • Firm grass
  • Golf-course pathways
  • Gently sloping farm and estate roads

The high- and low-range function provides improved control when travelling at lower speeds or over gently sloping terrain. However, it is not intended to replace a dedicated 4×4 vehicle on extremely rough, muddy or rocky terrain.

Glide Utility: Golf estate maintenance vehicle

The Glide Utility replaces the rear passenger seats with a practical load bin. This makes it the working model of the Glide range.

It can transport tools, maintenance equipment, parcels and cleaning supplies quietly and efficiently around a property.

Ideal applications

  • Estate and golf-course maintenance
  • Warehouse stocktakes
  • Moving packages ready for dispatch
  • Resort and lodge maintenance
  • Carrying tools and building materials
  • Cleaning and groundskeeping operations

Suitable terrain

The Glide Utility can be used on:

  • Warehouse and factory floors
  • Concrete loading areas
  • Paved estate roads
  • Maintained gravel farm roads
  • Firm grass
  • Golf-course and resort pathways
  • Gently uneven working terrain

Its rugged tyres and practical load bin make it suitable for everyday work, but it should not be treated as an extreme off-road vehicle. The Glide Utility is not roadworthy and is intended for use on private property.

Which Glide Should You Choose?

Choose the Glide 2 if you need a compact and economical vehicle for one or two people.

Choose the Glide 4 if you regularly need to transport additional passengers around a lodge, golf course, estate or farm.

Choose the Glide Utility if your priority is carrying tools, stock, equipment or supplies rather than passengers.

Whichever model you choose, the ETEC Glide range delivers quiet electric performance, simple charging and practical everyday mobility.
